We incorporate only the highest quality UV resistant materials as well as only brass, stainless steel, or aluminium metal components.

Understanding the role of these components will help you make an informed decision regarding your choice of pool fences. Below is a brief description of those materials:

 

MESH FENCING MATERIAL:
We offer only one type of mesh on our fences. This mesh has been used for over 20 years. In the field, it has proven to stand the test of time, children, and weather from the blazing deserts of Arizona to the unforgiving winters of Minnesota. It will not rot, tear, stretch, run, or fade.

MORE TRANSPARENT!
Side by side tests comparing our Mesh to competing coated interlock weave meshes and others prove our Mesh to be stronger, more abrasion resistant and lighter in weight. Although the woven strands of our Mesh are thinner than competing knitted fabrics they are far stronger. Yet this thinner strand is also more transparent allowing you an unobstructed view of your pool and patio.

MOLD AND MILDEW RESISTANT!
In addition, our Mesh smooth coating sheds both water and dirt. This allows our fence mesh to remain clean and mold and mildew free.

BORDER MATERIAL, THREAD, AND SEWING:
We utilize only heavy, marine grade border materials and high grade UV resistant thread to provide the finished edging to our mesh fence. Our Fences often pass from family to family protecting children for many years.

Quality border materials, sewing, and thread make this possible. Our borders are sewn to our mesh on both the top and bottom of the border to provide a solid attachment of border material to the mesh. 20 years experience sewing our borders in this manner with the same thread and –0- failures confirm that additional lines of sewing in the border do nothing to add quality.

FASTENERS AND METAL COMPONENTS:
Every metal component used in our Fencing is stainless steel, brass, or aluminium to prevent rust and eliminate maintenance. In a pool fence designed for outdoor child safety, we find steel components (sometimes referred to as "rust resistant" or "plated") to be totally unacceptable. Since rust can disable a safety latch we use strictly stainless steel hardware in our latches. This assures your fence will look new and attractive for years to come.

ASSEMBLY:
We assemble our fences with a minimum of 10 stainless steel screws per pole to assure a secure attachment of mesh to post. We utilize only round head screws and identical drilling patterns for a smooth safe finish and uniform quality appearance. We also utilize a special assembly process that removes wrinkles from the fence mesh at the time of assembly. This permits a more attractive installation around your pool.

SLEEVING:
On occasions the fence can be removed easily. Our sleeves incorporate the thickest sleeve walls in the industry to stand up to the rigors of numerous insertions and removals of your fence.

 
Self Locking Gate System for Pool Fencing
Our quality self closing, self latching gates incorporate strong welded aluminium frames which are powder coated for a durable finish. We utilize Magna latch® gate latches, and Tru Close® adjustable self closing, hinges. These gate components represent the latest technology in latching and closing mechanisms and are the most reliable available. 

The Magna Latch® gate latch is unique in that it uses a powerful magnet to operate the latching mechanism. As the catch approaches the latch, the magnet attracts it, pulls it in, and then mechanically latches it tight. One of the major benefits of this latch is that it does not require a strong closing force to latch it making it more reliable than “force operated” catches. It is also key lockable. The Magna Latch has received worldwide recognition as one of the safest gate latches available. It comes also with a key system to secure the gate closer. 

Tru Close® hinges are injection moulded from strong glass-fibre reinforced polymers. All metal components are stainless steel for rust resistance. Their closing force is adjustable with the turn of a screwdriver to provide just the right amount of closing force. All fasteners used in our gates are stainless steel for years of reliability. All bolts utilize stainless steel nylon insert aircraft lock nuts to maintain rigidity. Like the rest of our fence, our self-closing, self-latching gates are also completely removable.
